Brief History:
The foundation of VPS Computer was laid down in the Year 1994 by Mr. V. N Thakur at Begusarai District. The Primary objective of the organization was to enlighten the Computer Education in the youth of Begusarai. The institute was started in the rented building with just 2 computers. At that time people of Begusarai was eager to see the computer and they were feeling excited by using it. Mr. V. N Thakur and his team’s effort made it possible for the students of Begusarai to persue 100% job ready IT & management program at low cost at Begusarai itself. VPS Computer is not only focusing on course curriculum but it is providing Personality Development and Job interview session for the students.
Now a days institute has three branches across the city of Begusarai with latest and Hi-tech infrastructure for providing the quality of education. We have well versed & qualified pool of faculty for providing interrupt less teaching facility.
In the year 1996 the institute was shifted to its own building situated at VPS Campus, east of Deepshikha Cinema, Road no-1 Vishwanath Nagar, Begusarai.
Further in the Year 1999 the second Branch of VPS Computer was established within the green-clean campus of Barauni Refinery with the affiliation with the prestigious university in the Distance education i.e Sikkim Manipal University. Many of the Barauni Refinery Employee, Bankers, Private sector employees and Students got benefit from this university and those students are now in the prestigious place in the local to global company as well.
In the year 2003, the institute added one more reputation to its brand and got affiliation form world’s largest University IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) for providing various Technical and Job oriented courses form it.
Furthermore the institute got affiliation from prestigious University SHIATS (Formerly Allahabad Agriculture Deemed University) to offer distance programme not only in IT & Management but General and Humanities program as well. Now the institute has various edges to nurture the youth of Begusarai.
In the year 2013 Institute also got the honour to be a part of Bihar government’ s own University i.e Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic & Persian University to offer the various kinds of courses through its KRC-227.
